Instructions
This page outlines the steps required to request the deletion of the personal data we hold about you, particularly the data collected when you registered or logged in using a social media service like Facebook (Meta).

Data collected via social login is stored directly within your user account on the www.horfieldsa.co.uk website. Deleting your account will permanently remove this data.

Option 1: Request Deletion via Email (Recommended)
To ensure we accurately and permanently delete all your data, please follow these steps:

Compose an email to our administrative support: [email protected]

Subject Line: Account and Data Deletion Request

Email Body: Clearly state your request for the permanent deletion of your user account and all associated personal data.

Include Verification Details: Provide the following information so we can verify your identity and locate your account:

Your registered Username (if known).

The Email Address associated with your account.

The Social Media Service you used to register (e.g., “Facebook” or “Meta”).

Processing Time: Once we confirm your identity, we will process the deletion of your account and data within 30 calendar days. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is complete.

Option 2: Unlink Your Social Account (If Applicable)
If you wish to simply remove the connection between your social media account and your user profile on our website, but keep your user account open for future use with a standard username/password:

Log in to your account.

Navigate to your Account Settings or User Profile page.

Find the social connection section and click the “Unlink” button next to the relevant social platform (e.g., Facebook).

Note: This only removes the connection but may not delete all previously collected data; a formal deletion request (Option 1) is required for full data erasure.
